This Thursday – Patches, Pockets & Pocket Pouches!

Makers,

Join us for Patches, Pockets, and Pocket Pouches: An introduction to practical and creative handstitching for men, ladies, and teens!

Has your phone outgrown your pockets? Do you need something constructive and calorie-free to do with your hands while watching TV? Are your boring jeans, well, boring? In this fun and easy class we learn the basics of handsewing with simple, rustic Sashiko-inspired stitches, turning denim scraps into something unique and practical. All materials provided but you may bring your own denim garment to patch (no stretch knits please, that’s a different class). No previous sewing experience required but must be able to use pins, needles, and scissors safely. Patches, Pockets & Pouches will run this Thursday from 6 – 8 PM!
