This Thursday – Creative Cutting With the Cricut!

Makers,

This Thursday, join us for Creative Cutting With The Cricut!

The CMS’s Cricut cutting machine is a versatile tool that uses precision blades, and a computerized interface, to cut a wide variety of materials – including fabrics, leather, vinyl and more. Students will get familiar with the Cricut through a number of small projects (which they can keep) and will learn about a range of the Cricuts features and capabilities.

The goal of this introductory class is for students to get comfortable with the Cricuts primary features, so that they can use the machine for their own creative projects following the class. Following Creative Cutting with the Cricut, students will be invited to come back for a Tool Certification Session at no additional cost. Following the successful completion of the Certification, students (with Membership) will be permitted to use the CMS’s Cricut cutting machine independently.

Materials costs are included in the workshop fee. If you are Cricut owner, you are more than welcome to bring your personal machine to this class.
