Flash Fiction
Flash fiction is an extremely short (think flash in the pan) story. Though experts vary on the length, anywhere between 300-1000 is generally accepted. We will look at some excerpts and play with some fun prompts to get our creativity flowing. Annalisa Parent, an author and internationally-published freelance writer, will engage all in the writing process.
Participants will learn the process of flash fiction and will come away with writing prompts to encourage creativity.

Write and Pitch your Book so it Will SELL
Many would-be authors write and pitch books that never produce the sales or visibility they’d hoped. These writers feel frustrated, never knowing why the book was rejected–wither by the publishers or the would-be readers. In this session, CEO and Publisher Annalisa Parent will pull back the curtain to show exactly what makes a successful expert book, and how you can avoid the publishing pitfalls.
