For most classes and events, CMS MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED. That said, members will often receive a discount on registration, and there are some classes/events that are for members only (this will be clearly noted in the event description).
Instructors: Interested in teaching a class at CMS? Please check our Job Openings page for more information.
Refund Policy: We know life is hectic and sometimes things come up, but we make commitments to our instructors who dedicate their time and expertise to enable us to provide the best educational opportunities for the CMS community based on class registrations. Due to limited seating and credit card processing costs, if you need to cancel your registration for a paid class or event for any reason, we will refund 75% of your registration fee provided you cancel at least 7 days before the class is scheduled to begin. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class and recover costs incurred. No refund will be issued if you do not contact the CMS at email@example.com requesting to cancel your registration at least 7 days before the start of the class.
Missed Classes Policy: There are no refunds, transfers, make-ups or deferments for missed classes. Please call the Claremont MakerSpace at (603) 504-3419 or email firstname.lastname@example.org before the start of the class if you believe you are going to be late or miss the class entirely so we don’t delay the start of a class waiting for you.
Cancellation Policy: The Claremont MakerSpace reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason. A class may be cancelled in the event the minimum number of students for the class is not reached, or if weather conditions make it unsafe for instructors or attendees to travel. In the event that we cancel a class, registrants will receive a full refund. Students enrolled in a class which is canceled will be notified by phone or email if a valid phone or email address has been provided. Students enrolled in a cancelled class will be offered a full refund or will be enrolled in the rescheduled class.
